Together we have surpassed the goal of $1000 just last week. Wow! I am so thankful to all that have given to make this possible. I think we can get to $1500 over the next few weeks before my run on January 13th. Let’s see how high we can go!

Your giving really does motivate me. Why else would I go running when it’s -2 degrees like i did yesterday? Not to pat myself on the back, but it really was quite enjoyable. I feel like I’m ready for whatever weather January 13th can dish out.

I’m good with weather but I do need to run 20+ miles that day. I’m not quite ready for that kind of effort. It’s going to hurt and I’m ok with that. I know I will have some amazing people out on the trail with me keeping me going when I want to quit, just like one of my jobs as a husband and father is to keep my wife going as she faces stage 4 lung cancer.
